Using public transport is advisable because of its efficiency and affordability.
A single ticket costs 350 HUF (around 1 Euro) and it’s valid for one ride after validation, except the metro lines where it is allowed to change between lines with the same ticket.
If you buy a block of ten tickets for 3000HUF (around 8,2 Euro) you will save around 500 HUF (around 1,4 Euro).
There are travel cards available for different time limits (24h, 72h or one week) and there’s no limit to using them in time or types of vehicles.
