To visit Budapest any time between March and October is pretty great. Spring treats Budapest particularly well, as the blossom really adds up to any scenery in the city, but it’s hard to go wrong when it comes to choosing a season to visit the capital of Hungary.
Summers can be very warm, but they are also filled with high-quality entertainment and concerts.
The month of August is both the warmest, with the thermometer around 30C (86F), and one of the most enjoyable, especially at night, when you can chill in some lovely beer garden, or walk by the river.
Winters are no longer as cold as they used to be, and if you have a soft spot for the Christmas atmosphere, then you are gonna fall for the markets, and the decorations animating the city between November, and December.
